Sumac Daddy is bright, bold, and totally unexpected. Built on a base of our premium-aged red jalapeño mash, cauliflower and red onion, it leans into Middle Eastern flavor with lemon, honey, and the tangy punch of sumac (and NO Einstein, it's NOT poison sumac 🌿🤢😂). Sweet, citrusy, and sharp with just a hint of sesame oil to smooth it out. This sauce hits all the right notes. It’s one of those unique sauces that works on just about anything.

Every Fraktured Sauce begins the same way.

  • Peppers are harvested, then ground into mash.
  • Mash is fermented and aged using a dry-salt method, not brine.
  • All pepper mash is aged for a minimum of one year, often longer.
  • Aging is intentional, allowing flavor to round, mellow, and fully develop.
  • The natural body created through aging eliminates the need for gums or fillers.
  • Every sauce begins with this aged pepper mash; flavor differences come only from added ingredients, never shortcuts.
